Inspiration

"Celebrated photographer Rankin briefly turned his back on the glitz and glamour and took his camera to the refugee camps of the war-torn DR Congo."

Aren't these photos great!
I love the white background and I love seeing the children just having a cheeky laugh in front of the camera.
I'm off to Uganda next month, to take photos and film for a charity called LCD.
So I'm getting all the inspiration I can!

Charity Work

So last weekend my friend Natalia and I went to a friends tea party to raise money for the charity where Nat works called Link Community Development. Annie who held the Tea Party is running a 10 k marathon for the charity next month - well done lovely!

"Education is a basic human right. At this very minute, this right is being violated for over 24 million children in Africa.

Working in Ethiopia, Ghana, Malawi, South Africa and Uganda,

Link Community Development is improving education for children, giving them a chance to escape the poverty into which they have been born."

It's a brilliant charity and in September Natalia and I will be heading over to there office in Uganda,

to help in the schools.

I will also be filming a short documentary following the charity and filming a few other things to put on their website - i can’t wait to go!

check out their website here, they have lots of fun ways of fundraising......
