i adore photobooths

i love these...... i want to frame them and keep them on my wall forever

I heart Cologne

I went to Cologne at the weekend, with my friend Mel to see our friend Nina
{who lives there}.
We had the most amazing time catching up,
being silly and exploring the city

mel and me waiting and waiting and waiting at the airport...
nina and mel at the sky bar {amazing view over cologne}
mel and me
mel on nina's balcony {not wanting her picture taken!}

me and one of the many trendy cafes where we ate brunch

inside the most beautiful cathedral

Cologne is such a nice city, it's small and has trams {which i adore} and is full of lovely, lovely people.

my highlights from the weekend:

eyebrow waxing {long story....!}
finding Sky Bar which was located on the roof of a car park completely hidden away
spending a whole day in the most amazing {naked!} german spa

two things..

numero uno -
So my lovely friend Charlotte has just moved out, and I'm really going to miss her. She's always been there for me when I've needed to moan, laugh or just talk (at her!). and she's become much more than a housemate. I'm so glad that she's only moved down the road and I can still see her for chats and to see how much fun we can have with a chocolate biscuit............

numero due -

Charlotte is also a trained actor. and has just had a part in the new film 'The Boat That Rocked' - it's only a short part, but a good part. welldone you!

So go and watch the film and check out the nurse with dark blonde hair (charlotte!). you can see her a little in the trailer too!

yummy times

I hope you all had a yummy Easter.
My beautiful mum came to visit and we had a great time indulging ourselves with scrumptious cupcakes, and lots of pots of tea.
I am so grateful for my mum and Easter breaks!

                          I love this one- little Nat

I love this one.

        I'm so grateful to have this little one in my life. I can't imagine what my life would be life if we hadn't met in the kitchen at Comic Relief and bonded over lunch ( me- salad and sushi, you - soup)! I can't imagine not having the rest of our lunch breaks together sharing salads and soups ( and the not so healthy galaxy chocolate bar!) and talking about absolute nonsense for an hour. I can't imagine not going to Malawi with you and seeing such poverty, yet meeting the most welcoming, friendly and inspirational people I have ever met. I can't believe Malawi was a year ago! I miss it so much.
       ..........................................................................................................................................................

So with that being said - Thank you Natalia, for taking me to banana house, cheering me up and buying me dinner. and thank you for moving to Stoke Newington and living around the corner from me. I'm not sure what I would do without our meals at ittos, drinks and pizza binges at il bacio.

    ..............................................................................................................................................................

You can also check out our volunteering options for going to Malawi and teaching nursery, primary and secondary school students.

Sometimes I really love my life.

{Sorry it's so blurry, don't you love the edge's though. not sure how this happened}

Today I woke up to a beautiful sky peeking through my curtains. I then decided to go for an early swim {a whole hour, can you believe that!} and then met my gorgeous housemate for a coffee {which ended up being 3}, and lots of chats. The boy also came home from work early, so we decided to snuggle up on the sofa and watch a film. I really am starting to get used to time off!
I also found these little gems from the summer spent at 'Hop Farm' festival in Kent, Uk.

because I miss you all......

These girls have always been there for me, through first love disappointments, first sip’s of alcohol and to tell me off when I’m being a madam or moody! I love them and they’re all like sisters to me. I can’t imagine my life without them. I’m so grateful they’re in my life.

Linzi - is the one person I can tell anything to and I know she will never judge or doubt me. She is so utterly beautiful, intelligent, witty and charming. I miss her so much whilst she’s away studying. I am eagerly awaiting her arrival in April, so we can eat cupcakes for breakfast and have tea parties made for two.
