weekend goodies

this weekend has been just what we needed.
We spent time laughing with friends, going to see our friends band play, a little trip to the seaside, lazy coffee dates and we even managed to cram in a couple of trips to the cinema.
That being said you must see Crazy Heart. I can't get enough of the soundtrack, I was so pleased to hear that Jeff Bridges is just as a good singer as he is actor.

At the moment I am listening to the beach house perform on LA BLOGOTHÈQUE.
Their music is so dreamy and perfect for a sunday evening.

Weekend dates

This weekend Glen and I checked out Pizza East in Shoreditch. The cocktails were flowing and although we didn't actually order pizza (I had lamb cutlets and glen had the biggest steak i've ever seen!) the food was delicious and not too expensive. The building's an old warehouse and now with it's stripped wooden floors, divine chandeliers and huge windows overlooking trendy shoreditch, it feels warm yet unique.
It’s defiantly worth a visit. I’ve already planned a trip back with friends next week, i can’t wait to share this place (and the cocktails) with them.

another video to share

I've just got back from a very busy couple of days away, and on my return i saw this. How much do you love Zooey and her dance moves! She looks so cute.

It's such a brilliant music video and the song puts a huge smile on my face too!

Oh and happy St Patrick's day people, i hope you've had a good one!

I heart Friday

I'm spending this weekend relaxing, baking, catching up with friends, reading and babysitting my gorgeous 5 month old nephew.
I hope you all have a lovely one whatever you get up to.
Fingers crossed the weather stays nice and we can all enjoy playing in the park!

Lost Things

Lost Things is a short stop-motion film written and directed by Angela Kohler.

I have fallen hard with this wonderful, creative and clever video. I want to play in this world for a while. It reminds me Alice in Wonderland, anyone else?

Angela is a photographer and she is one talented lady. Her photos are beautiful. you can check her website out here
