J'adore Paris

Glen and I are off to Paris in 3 weeks. We're going to celebrate our 4 year anniversary and valentines day, and i couldn't be more excited.
We last went to Paris in 2008, for my birthday. We had a wonderful time, eating cheese, drinking red wine and walked around until we couldn't feel our feet anymore.
We used the metro, which is a much better experience than using the underground in London - however we did get lost a lot! One night at 3 am in the middle of no - where out side of Paris. Lets not talk about it, I'm still a little scared just thinking back to it.

But we had an amazing time and i can not tell you enough how giddy i feel about going back. Any excuse to drink coffee, eat cheese and as many macaroons as i want!

I've been reading David Lebovitz's blog and he has so many great recommendations, I'm going to try to drag glen along to all of them. And if you haven't heard of him then be sure to check him out here.

And if anyone else has any recommendations too then please let me know. I'd love to hear where your favourite place in Paris is.

Go to this place:

It's amazing, a shop full of taxidermy animals, from the tiniest jewel bright beetles for a few Euros to a huge polar bear for 30,000 Euros or something crazy like that!

yeah really lovely, not as cold as i thought it would be, we got a metro pass for the 5 days we were there which was worth getting as well because we wanted to see everything, just very very tired by the time i got home :)
